Krista Fuller
Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee.
Krista is currently in the final stages of earning her master’s degree in Counseling from Western Theological Seminary. In addition to Krista’s Biblically-based graduate program, she comes to us with over 20 years of experience working with youth and families in the church setting. Krista has both personal and professional experience in working with anxiety, depression, grief, parenting, marital communication, boundaries, and self-esteem.
Krista is certified as a SYMBIS and Gottman level 1 marital counselor. She is also certified in ABFT (Attachment Based Family Therapy).
In her time at Creekside Christian Church, she has had the privilege of serving as a facilitator to both Grief Share and Parenting with Love and Logic and enjoys counseling in both individual and group settings.
As an MFT, Trainee, Krista values a gospel-centered therapeutic approach, integrating both theological study and psychological theory. She considers the client, couple or family from a holistic approach. With this in mind, she gives attention to the well-being of the individual spiritually, physically, mentally, and relationally, believing that each of these areas is a pillar of wellness.
Note: Trainee’s and associates receive master’s degrees from accredited universities that meet the State’s Board of Behavioral Sciences requirements. Your therapist will collaborate with you on if and how much Christian Theology you want associated with your counseling experience.
