Krista received her master’s degree in counseling from Western Theological Seminary. In addition to her Biblically-based graduate program, she comes to us with over 20 years of experience working with youth and families in the church setting. Krista specializes in the work of trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and relational conflict.
Krista is certified as a SYMBIS and Gottman level 1 marital counselor. She is also certified in ABFT (Attachment Based Family Therapy) and in the process of her EMDR training completion.
As an AMFT, APCC, Krista values a gospel-centered therapeutic approach, integrating both theological study and psychological theory. She considers the client or couple from a holistic approach. With this in mind, she gives attention to the well-being of the individual spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and relationally, believing that each of these areas is a pillar of wellness.
